Hockey Checklist
If you are looking for a hockey checklist this is a good place to start, the checklists you will find here will also have images. Often the checklists here will be for products that don’t have teams associated or are a prospects product. For a hockey checklist sorted by the NHL teams you may want breakninja.com.
Major hockey trading card companies of today are Upper Deck and Leaf. Panini recently lost their NHL license and Leaf and ITG are unlicensed to produce the cards.
For full checklists sorted by team you should visit breakinja.com as they have in depth checklists with plenty of extra info like hit totals and rookie lists. This is also a very fast loading website so your wait times will be at a minimum.
SPx seems to be a hit or miss product for Upper Deck, and in my personal opinion 2010-11 SPx missed the mark. It is a higher cost than one would hope for from a mid-range product, and focuses almost exclusively on rookies. However, it does provide nice selection for fans of memorabilia cards, with each […]
2010-11 Score was the 20th anniversary for the popular hockey product. Appearing in the early 90s, the brand has not changed much in the way of design. Promising a large base set, as well as a collection of “Hot Rookies” the product is ideal for set builders. As a lower end product Score features a […]
2010-11 Pinnacle is a lower-end product from Panini, but one that is none-the-less appealing. At a low cost per pack ratio, fans can enjoy this product with their kids, or simply grab a couple packs on the cheap at their local card store. Regardless of the low cost, the product promises 4 hits per box, […]
2010-11 Limited was the first “high-end” hockey product to be released by Panini. The Limited brand is one that would remain popular throughout Panini’s run and still has many fans today. This product depends heavily on numbered cards, with even base cards being serial numbered. There are a wide variety of memorabilia and autographed cards […]
2010-11 Contenders was the debut year for one of Panini’s most popular products. The unique base cards, designed to look like tickets, pleased fans and motivated many set collectors. The product also put forward a variety of autographed cards and inserts/parallels that meant fans had a wide variety of sets to chose from. The product […]
Donruss hockey was a popular brand in the 1990s, especially with sets such as Rated Rookies. 2010-11 Donruss marks the brand’s return to hockey, with Panini taking the helm. This is a fun mid-range product that focuses on inserts and jersey cards. There is also a nice selection of autographs and prime jersey pieces. Also […]
2017 marks the 6th edition of National Hockey Card Day. The popular Upper Deck promotion sees special packs given free of charge at Upper Deck Diamond Dealer locations. Two separate National Hockey Card Day sets exist, with one being available in Canada and the other in the United States. Each of these sets features […]
2010-11 Certified was one of the debut product for Panini Hockey. Offering a mix of memorabilia and autographs, the company built on early success to gain immense popularity among fans. Despite the company’s short run in hockey, fans continue to buy, sell, and collect the brand. 2010-11 Certified offered fans 4 hits, as well as […]
