2023 Topps Baseball Japan Edition is an exclusive release that is found on the Topps Japan website. The annual set uses Topps’ flagship design, but adds a Japanese twist, most notably the addition of the Japanese flag to the front of cards. As can be expected the set pays particular attention to Japanese stars, offering multiple subsets dedicated to The World Baseball Classic Team Japan. Fans will notice that Shohei Ohtani is particularly prevalent in the set, which is no surprise considering the superstar pitcher/hitter is now the highest paid athlete in history. Hits are not guaranteed in these boxes, and fans can expect a total of 240 cards per box. A full breakdown of the release can be found at Breakninja.com.
